Unknown Mortal Orchestra

Unknown Mortal Orchestra

One of your new favourites. Unknown Mortal Orchestra first caught the attention of music lovers in 2010 with a single track, 'Ffunny Ffrends', posted on Bandcamp with no detailed credits. Soon after, bloggers from popular Blog sites (No, not this one!) got hold of the single and tried to find out who the creator of the track was, eventually leading to Portland, USA based New Zealander Ruban Nielson claiming it.

In no way at all is this next description meant to cause offense, but their music is WEIRD!!! in a way that makes you want to sit in a dark room, headphones on and just let the music attack your senses. You just know that there were some incredibly creative forces at work to piece together these tracks.

Deep Sea Arcade

Australian Indie Rock group Deep Sea Arcade make music that you will not be able to shake out of your head, and there is nothing wrong with that! The 'feel good factor'? They have it!

I hear their songs and feel like jumping in my red convertible (which I don't actually have) and cruising along a coastal-hugging road with the wind in my hair and the world around me looking more beautiful than ever through the shades of my sunglasses.

The Walkmen

The Walkmen

American Indie Rockers, The Walkmen are classic. They are everything that a good band should be. There is something about The Walkmen that feels old and familiar but unique and modern at the same time.

A fantastic band, whose music is sure to be around for years to come.
